- Theseus and Minotaur

Theseus was the mythical king and founder-hero of Athens. Like Perseus, or Heracles,
Theseus battled and overcame foes that were identified with an archaic religious and social order.

Minotaur, Greek Minotauros (“Minos’s Bull”), in Greek mythology,
a fabulous monster of Crete that had the body of a man and the head of a bull.
